RN to BSN Requirements in South Carolina

RN Licensure: Online RN to BSN degrees are classified as post-licensure programs. South Carolina universities will expect you to hold—or be in the process of earning—an RN license.

CCNE- and ACEN-accredited Online RN to BSN programs invariably include practicums. However, these will have a different feel to bedside clinicals in your associate degree or diploma. RN to BSN practicums are often focused on community health and leadership training.

For example, in Claflin’s Online RN to BSN, students are required to tackle 54 hours of precepted clinical practice in a community health setting and 54 hours developing & implementing a clinical leadership project.
